[ Snow Day ]

When I woke up at 4:21

this morning, the street

was covered in a heavy

blanket of snow.  For

once, the weather

channel actually got it

right.

Taken from my bedroom window, Leica M9: 28mm Elmarit, f 11, 6 seconds @ ISO 400 with a Gitzo Traveller 1551T Tripod.

Craig Semetko “Unposed” + Misha Erwitt “Street Smart”

Tomorrow night my snow boots and I are headed to the Leica Gallery at 670 Broadway.  They are hosting a dual exhibition for photographers Craig Semetko and Misha Erwitt.  For those of you who like street photography this will be “right up your alley.”  Mixing film and digital work, mostly from Leica cameras, both bodies of work remind us that great photographs are happening everyday.  The challenge is finding the next photo because there’s no script, no models, and zero instructions.  Come join me at the opening for an exciting evening.

Out of town…

If you are not in town take a look at Craig and Misha’s websites below.  Craig has a great video on his site where he talks about his philosophy on street work, his influences, and why he shoots with Leica.

  2. They are exceptionally intelligent and they also succeed in obedience training.

Making sure you have a healthy pup is essential for a happiness with all the animal.
Bags certainly are a typically overlooked expense in relation to owning
and operating a puppy day care. As their names show, the
breeder breeds dogs and seller purchases readily available breeders and resells the pups to customers.
The best wish for any prospective beagle owner will be the prevention
of trouble by deciding on the best dog.
